Well, this one passed me by, but luckily, it's still in beta; Tagxedo is a fantastic little web page which you can use to create tag clouds - like the one above - from any text.
In the beta version you can supply any photo you like as the frame for the image (I used a picture of myself here), though this functionality will belong to the 'pro' version once the project leaves beta. This is, of course, big news. The deal with Verizon will open up the American market to a much greater extent for Apple and mean that many people who didn't wish to switch can now rush out to purchase an iPhone 4.

With our current preponderance of  cheap and advanced technology it is a little upsetting that so few truly amazing experiments are done with regards to space exploration and just how little money is invested into research. Well, looks like Samsung is indeed going to be toughing it out on level terms with Apple come the release of their new 'Galaxy Tab' iPad competitor. I for one was expecting Samsung to go price competitive with this product as the specifications don't really mark it out as the superior product.

So, whats been going on? Not too much, but we do get the biggest event in PC gaming for years (according to lots of people it would seem) as the sequel to the perennially popular Starcraft finally drops. Can't say that I'm personally excited as it's a little to old fashioned for my liking. However, it's a Blizzard game so polish and presentation will be top notch. Well then , there ya go. Apple to give out free cases for the iPhone 4 but only because of all the fuss as there isn't a real problem. To be fair Apple do have a point it's hardly news that other phones have exactly the same issues, I think when there are this many people with exactly the same phone, build quality this fine and sooo much hype; you get this kind of media reception.

A lovely phone, just look at the size of it! I was also pleasantly stunned by the fact that you really can whack that glass screen as hard as you like with no ill affects. Wish the iPhone 4 could say the same.

Yup, eve the mighty Google are unaware that treating people like common thieves is a damn good way to make them just that. Engadget have reported that owners of the swanky Dev G1 are being blocked from purchasing apps on the android web store.
The dev G1 is available without contract for those who sign up (for $99) as a G1 developer.
